During my time as Member and Events Manager, as well as Regional Events Manager at Soho Works NYC, I successfully produced, curated, and managed hundreds of events. I handled both member programming and private events, organizing masterclasses, lunch-and-learns, corporate summits, offsite team-building activities, workshops, and launch events. I focused on increasing sales for private hires and produced high-profile events that raised visibility for the Soho Works brand, as well as for the work of Soho Works members and creatives. I collaborated cross-functionally with various teams to produce, capture, and highlight these events, while also managing event operations to ensure their success.

Biggest takeaway: Managing events across three locations is no easy feat. Stay organized, build relationships with your team, and work smarter not harder. Having an internal checklist for your host, and your team helps everyone feel empowered to do their part, and to know that they are supported. For an event producer, it may just feel like another event, but for a client or host—this is their everything!
